The Sheila Gopal Raheja Foundation has been silently working to raise the quality of life available to the masses for over past two decades, building a strong legacy of establishments in the world of education.
The Foundation has been built on the core values of philanthropy with an unwavering vision to forward the lives of the people by enriching the educational experience and inclusive culture of personal development.
The foundation is a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act in 1998 and encompasses five premium educational institutions which boast of an enviable faculty lineup, world-class infrastructure, robust degree programs which address the need for quality higher-education set-ups in a developing country as India. There is a massive emphasis on facilitating higher education which is addressed by multiple grants and charitable programs aimed at generating sustainable education models in our Colleges and Institutes.
The Foundation is invested in creating a better future of education and wellness, firmly based on the values of promoting an inclusive, harmonious and scalable model of growth. Thus it has spread its efforts into boosting numerous programs in these categories to shape the lives of the future generations with grace and fortitude.
The purpose of the foundation is in creating knowledge and shaping the character of our future generations by challenging them to create new ways of thinking, to reach out and take up tasks beyond their comfort zone and to generate a dynamic paradigm that will shape the future of the world.

Durga Raheja
Durga Raheja heads the CSR arm of K Raheja Realty. She is a trustee of the Sheila Gopal Raheja Foundation, and under her guidance, the foundation has pursued several different objectives to make a positive impact on society, from education endeavours to health programs and charitable events. One of her early efforts included creating the Beyond Medicine initiative. Over the years, this has expanded to be an established health program, wellness decoded, within the company’s CSR umbrella. She also actively manages Raheja Academia, which oversees the various education institutions under the foundation, including Sheila Raheja School of Business Management & Research and L.S. Raheja School of Architecture.
One of the programs closest to her heart is Hope, the annual Tata memorial holiday event for their cancer patients which she hosted and spearheaded the planning for. Her tireless efforts to contribute to the community have been a defining part of Durga’s identity, and her philanthropic ambitions have continued to grow over the years. Her passion to make a difference, coupled with her innate desire to learn, led her to pursue an executive leadership course at Harvard University.
